Advantages and disadvantages of sharing a flat

Once we finish school, we have to decide where we are going to live. While some students think that it is better to make your own and lonely life, others tend to think that sharing a flat is a very suitable option for the young students nowadays.

On the one hand, it has to be said that sharing a flat is cheaper than living alone, due to the fact that you have to share the expenses with your housemates and that's obviously a good option for a young student. Furthermore, the more you live there with your housemates, the the better you get to know them and maybe you’ll become really close friends.

On the other hand, a very clear disadvantage is the common arguments of that kind of life: it is obvious that living with other people leads to unpleasant situations like not having respect for the housework or having undesirable guests in the flat. Moreover, sometimes you wish you had more privacy in order to keep calm.

To sum up, sharing a flat may be hard, so you must take a look at different flats with different people to clear your mind about your near future. Nevertheless, if you are not pretty sure about sharing a flat, you always have the option of living alone.
