Nowadays, video games are very popular all over the world. However, their use is a controversial topic.
Firstly, computer games can cause addiction, for this reason, many people play video games for many hours. Consequently, some people become isolated.
Secondly, some games promote violence and hatred, besides, sometimes they contain violent scenes, rude words, sex and drug use.
Finally, in extreme situations, people, above all young children, can’t differentiate between reality and the game, therefore they need psychological attention.
In conclusion, everybody can play computer games provided we don’t abuse them. Furthermore, parents and teachers should promote free time activities for teenagers such as sports, excursions and other activities.
