When studying far away from home you have different options on where to
live, one of the most common ones is sharing a flat with other students. This
choice has both a positive and a negative side.
One of the main advantages of sharing a flat with other students is that
you can have your own rules, no one can tell you when you can go out or come
back or when you have to eat, you choose what do to and when to do it.
Moreover, you usually become friends with your flatmates if you're not already
and that can make everything more fun.
On the other hand, while complete freedom can be so much fun, it has a
downside too. You must be responsible, you have to take care of everything, no
one is going to do it for you so you have to do all the housework and run all
errands.
To sum up, I believe that despite all the disadvantages, sharing a flat
can be so much fun and also it can help you grow up and learn to be more
self-dependent.
