It was still very dark outside, but Becca decided to leave the house anyway. She started wandering around the parkway like she did yesterday, the day before and the day before that. Again, there was no luck. The parkway was dead silent and there was no sing of life except for the gloomy looking trees on the side of the sidewalk. However, she kept on walking until she arrived at Joe's house and knocked on the door three times. ''It's me! I know it's early but I couldn't wait any longer. I have to tell you what happened!'' Becca said. She was kind of worried that he wasn't opening the door so she broke into his house through the window. ''Joe, where the hell are you?'' Becca yelled, but no answer was given. She went into his room and started looking for any tracks he might have left, with no luck. She sat onto his bed and waited for something to happen, and it did. Cars passed by, doors opened, there were people outside. That's when she realised that everything was going back to normal. The dream had ended. She would never see Joe again.
