We are going talk about refugees. First, we want to know what do you know about these theme. Refugees, in fact, are people who have to run away from their country because they don’t have enough protection from their goverment, and they are accepted in some countries, although there are people that enter in another country illegaly.They are also recognized as forced migrants in their countries because they are persecute for religious,social and politic reasons.
Nowadays the main affected zone of refugees is Siria, due to the war by the political situation of the country. (-Do you know what is happening there?)
The conflict began when some teenagers painted revolutionary slogans on a school wall. Therefore, they were arrested and tortured. Then, there were protests in favour of the democracy and they wanted the resignation of the president.
They have also been accused of using civilian suffering, such as blocking access to food, water and health services as a method of war.
The United States and his European allies saw this conflict as a great opportunity. They were presupposing that democracy to these countries would allow them to open new economic markets. They helped rebels providing weapon and supplies to them in order to have a victory. More than 4.5 million people have fled Syria since the start of the conflict, most of them women and children. About 10% of Syrian refugees have sought safety in Europe, but countries are discussing about the distribution of the Syrian refugees.
Thousands of syrian refugees don’t have a place to live. They have to live in refugee camps, in a subhuman conditions. Turkey, Israel and Arabia suffer a deep economic crisis. The objective is that refugees go away to Europe, and then Europe take part of the war of Syria.
We have seen a lot of news about the refugees, who are dying everyday in the pacific ocean running away from their country due to the cruel situation. Although it can sound a little bit selfish, the fact that the refugees come to Europe can be a problem for the european people because if they get a job here, there would be more unemployed europeans.
Long ago, the international community concluded that only a political solution could end the conflict in Syria. For some governments, the only solution would be a military intervention. Others are looking for a pacific solution.
