Supermakerts

Supermarkets have spread almost all over the world becoming par of our routines. Most of us buy all kind of stuff in them. But which are the advantages and disadvantages.

The main advantage is that all you need is int the same building: there's a butcher, fruit, all kind of food and also hygienic stuff we need. This way, it's enough to visit our nearest supermarket approximately once a week. This makes us, obviously, save a lot of time. Prices are also very attractive. As supermarkets have great stocks and don't  need many people, they're able to make their products cost decrease. We're not only saving time, but also money.

Despite these advantages, we don't always know where our food comes from. Things  such as meat or fruit can come from far far away. Instead of buying our local products, we're consuming foregin products which we don't know how exactly they've been treted. This makes our local buissineses have problems or even disappear. These great surfaces don't employ many people either, they don't need many employees, who aren't paid very well.

To conclude, perhaps we should buy in smaller town shops, which ensure local quality products. Furthemore, many little shops need some more employees than a big supermarket. It may not be so cheap, but at least we'll know where the food comes from and that we're helping our local area to improve.
