Shopping in supermarkets

Big supermarkets like Lidl or Mercadona are becoming more common in a lot of cities. Moreover, their prices are more competitive every day, but little shops aren’t having a good time, because nowadays big ones are extremely popular.

On the one hand, big supermarkets can offer very cheap and good products, and it is an advantage for consumers because of their financial problems. They are also better organized and you are able to buy all kind of items in the same buildings. Moreover, they are usually open more time than little shops and they’ve got a parking where you can park your car near the supermarket, which is very comfortable because of the heavy transport of the products purchased.

On the other hand, big supermarkets can offer cheaper products with less employees. Therefore, there are more people without jobs than if there were a lot of little shops. Moreover, the products sold in big supermarkets aren’t usually from the area where the supermarket is. For this reason, buying them, we don’t help the local economy.

To sum up, big supermarkets are very comfortable and competitive. However, their consequences can make little shops go down. Therefore, increase financial problems.
