Do we know what getting a tattoo or piercing means?

Nowadays it is common to have a tattoo or a piercing. Almost as common as having a cell phone, and most often, it's just as expensive! Now, we all know there are many arguments about tattoos and piercings, both for and against them. Tattoos and piercings have most definitly become more and more popular as the years progress, as more youth and young adults are trying to find themselves.

On one hand, they tend to give teens a sense of individuality and often symbolize something important in their lives. It also expresses their artistic sides.

On the other hand, getting tattoos or piercings includes many unnecessary hazards such as excessive bleeding, infections... if someone wanted to take away a tattoo, it would be very dangerous and also very expensive.

To sum up, the decision to wear a tattoo or piercing is individual but teeneagers have to be warned about the possible consequences in the future.

Are we responsible enough?

Nowadays is not unusual to have a tattoo or see someone full of them. Young children have grown up surrounded by tattoos and it is not strange that at fourteen or fifteen they want one without taking into account the consequences.

The final decision, in the case of an underage, is his parents' and it depends on their responsibility and preferences. If somebody has lots of tattoos it is more probable that his son has a tattoo earlier than other that are against body painting. Moreover, children have more compulsive ideas. If their parents do not allow them, they will want to do it secretly. If they do it in that way, it's more probable that they  won't go to a specialized place, which means that there is less safety and it is more likely to have some illness like tetanus.

To conclude, people should think more about their acts and children shouldn't have this responsibility until they are 18. The Law should be more strict and shouldn't allow children to have tattoos done without their parents' permission.

Do we know what getting a tatto or a piercing means?

Nowadays, tattoos and piercings have become a very controversial topic for main reasons like how old is enough. Getting a tattoo or a piercing is considered an art form, another way to show who you are or a stupidity.

On the one hand, having tattos or piercings is a different way to express your identity, to tell the story of a life. When someone decides to get a tatto performed is because at that moment of his life it is what he wants. People think that tattoos are a reminder of what they lived and what they felt, and today they don't have to be for the rest of your life.

On the other hand, getting tattos or piercings involves many unnecessary risks such as excessive bleeding, infections, keloids... We can't know what we'll want or how we'll be in the future, so later maybe you'll regret it. Also, don't forget that removal tattoos is very painful and expensive, and piercings can leave you scars.

In short, do your homework before acting in order that in the future you can be proud of your decision.

Tattoos

Tattoos are a trend in the teenage years or in the twenties. A lot of people decide  that they want one without thinking of  the impact.

In my opinion, a tattoo should not have to determine the future of a person. The problem is that we live in a society that cares too much about appearances
. Some people associate tattoos with dangerous people, because it's a normal topic. This person maybe is a friendly shopkeeper  whose tattoo is in memory of his grandparents. The reality is that this problem exists and affects  the  possibility of having a job. I don't care if a person has a tattoo or not , it's his own body and they can do what they  want, and it doesn't affect his character.

To sum up, I don't think that having a tattoo is relevant to a job, but some others think that it is. They are free to  wear  a tattoo, but they must think of
the impact that it will have in their lives before doing it.

Why parents don't like piercings or tattoos?_F

Nowadays, there are a lot of teenagers with piercings. Usually they like to have a piercing on the lips, tongues, or ears and the majority of parents don't like it and the same happens with tattoos. But should parents let their children get a piercing or tattoo if they were not 18 yet?

Some people like this body decoration but some don't, so everyone is free to choose if they want to have piercings or tattoos, or not, despite their age. But the problem is that
sometimes these teenagers, who like this body decoration, don't know and they aren't
aware about their risks. For example, piercings can cause infections, scars, etc. For this
reason parents don't allow their children to have body decorations.

At the same time, we can see some people who think that the parents have the obligation toban these type of decorations while their children are minors. For this reason, there are a lot of families who have problems and arguments because they don't agree.

As we see, the relationships between the children and the parents are difficult because
teenagers think differently because of bad influences.

Tattoos ans piercings trend.

Nowadays, it is very usual to see people with tattoos or piercings. Some people pierce any body parts, other get tattooed, and others both.

Firstly, some people get something important or something symbolic tattooed, like mum's name, grandpa's face... something like this. But not all people do this, other people get their boyfriend or girlfriend's name tattooed ,and then, they break up. When someone gets tattooed, they should be conscious about it, and they shouldn't regret it for the rest of their lifes

On the other hand, piercings are popular, too. People pierce any body parts, like nipples, genitals, navels and other strange parts. Before that, they don't know anything about all risks they can produce. For this reason, they should go to a licensed facility.

In conclusion, people should be sure about get a tattoo and the parts they will pierce. Sometimes, they realize so late, and the only solution is a surgical correction.

What are your views on tattoos?

Nowadays, tattoos have become increasingly more common among society compared to previous years, not only among youth, but also adult people.

First of all, I think that tattoos cause more trouble than anything else because it is known that they can cause health problems, and also allergic reactions. The proof of that is that many federal governments insist that those who receive a tattoo must wait 6 months before they are allowed to donate blood, showing how uncertain governments are when it comes to tattoo safety.

In addition, removing a tattoo can be both expensive, painful, and also time consuming. The only way to remove it is by laser treatment or surgery, and this can only remove the 95% of a tattoo.

To sum up, I believe that having a visible tattoo is totally relevant when it comes to have a job, specially jobs where you have to treat people, because society in general still doesn't accept tattooed people.

What are your views on tattoos?_F

These days having tattoos is a tipical thing  among people, and it is taking, increasingly more and more importance in society.

On the one hand, there are many reasons why people, and teenagers more often, decide to get a tattoo. For instance, if you are in love with somebody, or you love doing an activity, you would want to keep it, tattooing it on your skin.

On the other hand, in many jobs, you aren't allowed to have visible tattoos. Therefore, if you have some , they wouldn't want to have you in their job, and you would have to remove it. Moreover, when you get rid of a tattoo, because then you hate what you loved being a teenager, and you want to remove it, it can be very expensive.

To sum up, I reckon that having a visible tattoo isn't a right thing to have, because you don't know how your life will change. Deffinitely, having a visible tattoo doesn't say anything about an individual that is relevant to his her job.

Tattos and piercings are only a fashion_F

In the last few years, tattos and piercings have become a  profitable business and this is because of a new  trend. But are they good or not?

On the one hand, some people believe that they're good because they could be considered a traditional art in other cultures. Secondly, young people use them to integrate in some social groups. Finally, it could be considered as a personal emblem too.

On the other hand, the majority will regret having one when they become older. Also, they could be harmful to your skin or your body (even pen ink is harmful). Finally, they have some medical problems, for example if you have a tattoo on your lower back, you cannot recive certain kinds of anesthetic.

To sum up, I think tattos and piercings are a momentary fashion and you shouldn't follow it.

To have or not to have piercings and tattoos, that is the question

Nowadays, there are a lot of people who want to get a tatoo or a piercing but is this only a temporary fad or on the contrary is it a way to express your personality?

On the one hand, there are some disadvantages. Firstly, piercings can cause you infections due to hemorrhages for instance. Secondly, to remove tatoos can be more expensive and painful than the fact of getting  one. Last but not least, if you have some polemic tattoos, this fact can prevent you from getting a job.

On the other hand, there are some advantages too. Firstly, to have  a tattoo can be a way to express your personality. Secondly, tattoos are art and we have to value them as such. Finally, to get  a piercing may be a cool thing in the society which we are living in.

To sum up, I am in favour of tattoos and piercings although these should be done by professionals and besides you have to be very sure if you want one.

SHOULD YOU GET A TATTOO?

DOES HAVING A VISIBLE TATTOO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT AN INDIVIDUAL THAT IS RELEVANT TO HIS OR HER JOB?_F

There are many stereotypes about people who have tattoos and they are not always true. Tattoos are easily associated to criminals, but you can find very nice people who have one. The fact that you have a tattoo has nothing to do with the kind of person you are. They are just an accessory.

However, in jobs where employers deal with public directly ,a tattoo can be annoying for some of the customers. Furthermore, the image you offer is extremely important for companies because the first impresion says a lot about them.

To sum up, tattoos can't be related to certain kind of people and used to judge them. Nevertheless, for some jobs it is necessary to look well and a tattoo doesn't offer a pleasant image in most cases.

Are tatoo and piercings good idea?

Nowadays, teenagers search how to be different and what they have to do to stand out. They think that tattoos or piercings are the solution to their problem. Should parents let their children get a body piercing or tattoo if they were not yet 18?

One the one hand, if teenagers couldn’t get a body piercing or tattoo they wouldn’t be like they want because there are teenagers who like the tattoos and piercings. Also, the tattoos shops would lose the majority of their customers.

One the other hand, teenagers wouldn’t be seen like hooligans if they wore a tattoo or a piercing. In addition, lots of parents would be more comfortable with their children’s body.

In my opinion, teenagers must be able to get a body piercing because it’s something that you can remove if you want. But I don’t agree with tattoos in teenagers because usually a young boy doesn’t think of the consequences of getting a tattoo.

Body Decoration

In the last few decades more and more people are getting tattoos and piercings on their bodies, basically it is a fashion which maybe will go out of style or not. Nowadays you can see teenagers with tattoos and piercings and surely these teenagers didn't get the approval of their parents.

On the one hand, tattoos and piercings decorate your bodies and many people think that it is beautiful and cool. Also, with a tattoo you can hide a birthmark that you don't like.

On the other hand, tattoos or piercing can make serious infections. Another disadvantage is that actually, many companies don't contract workers with tattoos on their body for the image that they will give to the customers.

In conclusion, I think that body decoration is an interesting art and I like it, but you have to take precautions so as not to get infections and other complications.

Why we make tattoos?

Nowadays it’s very popular to have either tattoos or piercings because they are a trend. Should parents let their children have body decoration?

On the one hand, tattoos are positive as they can express thoughts. Nowadays it’s easy to find a person with a tattoo; it’s very modern, especially for teenagers and adults. A lot of people prefer coloured tattoos more than black tattoos, because it makes it more colourful and beautiful. The coloured tattoos demand a lot more attention because they are different. The reason why teenagers want to get tattoos or piercings is because they are the new trend and a lot of famous people have tattoos making them more desirable.

On the other hand, tattoos and piercings can be addictive besides, they can cause infections on the skin or other parts of the body. After being tattooed, for the first three/four months you cannot donate blood. Moreover, having tattoos can be harmful in terms of getting a job.

I personally think that parents shouldn’t allow their children to have piercings because I think they are dangerous and do not look professional.

BODY DECORATION BEFORE 18?

Getting a tattoo or a piercing is something very usual nowadays, but the problem is that teenagers are starting to get their first tattoo or piercing at an earlier age.

On the one hand, we all have the right to decide what we want to do with our body and getting a tattoo or a piercing is a way to express ourselves. But on the other hand, getting a tattoo or a piercing when you are not 18 yet means that your parents have given their assent and that they are becoming responsible for what you do with your body. That also means that if in the future you regret what you have done with your body, you will probably blame your parents because they let you get that tattoo or piercing that now you don’t want.

In conclusion, I think that getting a tattoo or a piercing if you are not 18 is not a good idea because you are too young to decide if it’s really worth it.
