Sharing housework

During the last fifty years a lot of things have changed in our society, one of them being the roles of men and women regarding to the housework.

As I said, fifty years ago, the role of women was to take care of the kids and do the housework, while men were the bread winners. Nowadays it’s totally different, but it’s true that we can still see families where this is still a thing. The reason of that change is the development of women's rights, which allowed them to have the same workplace as a man and earn even more money.

But there are cases where one of them earns more money that his or her partner, who is obliged to do the housework. For example, if one of them is a doctor and the other one works as a shop assistant, the one with less work hours will be the one taking care of the housework.

In conclusion, it depends on every house, but the ideal situation would be that both were in charge of the housework, or at least that both of them took part in it.
