I think that parents should let their children get a body piercing if they are fifteen or older. At this age they can think and can be liable to do what they want with their bodies. Moreover in the future if they don’t want to have piercings they can take them off.
On the other hand, in the case of tattoos, I think that parents shouldn’t let their children get a tattoo, because it lasts forever and it’s something that you like when you are young but you can hate when you are older. Because of that I think that parents shouldn’t let their children get a tattoo if they are not 17 or are not very conscious of the tattoo’s permanence.
In conclusion, parents should let their children get a piercing because it doesn’t have to last forever but shouldn’t let their children get tattoos if they are not mature enough.
