Parents shouldn't let their children get a body piercing or tattoo if they were not yet 18

Nowadays getting a tattoo or a piercing is easier even if you don't have the legal age for getting one. Moreover, parents are allowing their children to get one. We have a question to answer: Should teens have to wait untill 18 or get parental consent to get tattooed and/or pierced?

On the one hand, when you get tattooed or pierced you feel modern, cool, fashionable and more other adjectives that describe
the modern society. Furthermore, among your friends you are the one who is cooler than the others and that gives you the power of feeling superior.

On the other hand, the cost of wearing tattoos or piercings is highly dangerous. First you need to know about tattoos or piercings and the infections you can get. Once you get infected, you need a treatment to take care of your body and your piercing or tattoo. And, what's more, We have to take into account the high cost
 of removing tattooes.

To sum up, would you allow  your children
to get a tattoo or a piercing to be cooler or feel superior among your friends being conscious of the consequences on costs removing or treating infections?
