On the one hand, I think that living in a capitalist society is unfair because the big companies control the market and don't allow little shops to compete with them. For example Inditex, in Spain (Pull and Bear, Bershka, Zara...); this big company has factories in other countries and it allows them to give low prices making other shops be unable to give the same price. It is for this reason that I think that little shops need to be protected because finally the big company will control all the market.
On the other hand, this kind of society allows the population to buy, seeing the low prices in the market which have developed the consumerism and everyone buys as much as they can. Nevertheless, the society has got to the point that they buy without thinking if they need that or not. Most people have bought something which they haven’t used yet. In my view, it is immoral because there are people in other countries that work hard allowing us to live better. This kind of people live in misery and for this reason we live in a capitalist system: there are poor countries which are the motor of the economy.
In conclusion, I would like to emphasise the fact that we think that we live in a pretty world and nowadays everyone is able to have access to low cost products in the market, but it is not real. There are people who work 24 hours a day and get a miserable salary. Most people don’t give importance to this fact, but if we worked only a day like these people, we would think if we really need what we buy or not.
