This issue has always been controversial because of the difference of opinions: many years ago women were used to cleaning the house and taking care of their children while men were working. Nowadays, the situation has changed because women have rights to work, so both can help each other with the housework.
Firstly, it has to be mentioned that I think that men and women must share the housework. Although before people didn't see that sharing the housework was right, it is a little bit different now due to the fact that minds have changed along with time. In my opinion, if a man and a woman, with the same responsibilities, are living in the same house, both have to do the housework to keep the house clean. As a consequence, every day they share together would be easier.
In conclusion, men and women should share the responsibilities although it depends on the amount of work you have that day or the free time you have.
