American Tv series, such as “Modern Family”, “The Big Bang Theory” and “How I met your mother”, are really well received in Spain, even more than Spanish series.
Personally, I like Tv series but I don't follow any of them because they are broadcast in the afternoon, which I have to devote to studying. However, I sometimes like to watch them since they are very funny and well done: the arguments are original and witty and the characters are well defined too.
Regarding the recommended version to watch the series I prefer the dubbed ones because the voices are really good and much better than the original voices of the actors. Some people argue that dubbers distort the professional work of the actors, but that's not true because in order to be a good dubber you also must be a good actor, that is to say you must perform that role as if you were in front of the cameras.
To sum up, I like quality Tv series as they are a good way to spend your free time, and better if dubbers, with nice voices, are good in interpretation.
