Rajoy backtracks on Spain’s controversial new school-leaver exams Madrid 27 OCT 2016

Decision comes after mass protests against a system many fear will punish poorer students

Spain’s acting Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy announced on Thursday that the government would delay the full roll-out of a new exam system that forms part of a package of controversial education reforms introduced by his conservative Popular Party (PP) in 2013.
Under the proposed changes students would be have to sit two externally assessed exams known in Spanish as reválidas, or final examinations.
The first of these exams would be taken at the end of the basic secondary education system (ESO), when students are aged 15 or 16, while the second such exam would take place when students complete their higher secondary education course (bachillerato) at the age of 17 or 18.
Students undertaking the first round of exams at 15 or 16 would have to pass to receive their high school diploma and be allowed to continue their studies. For the older group of students, the new exams would replace Spain’s selectividad university entrance tests.
The government has defended the new exams saying they will have a “very positive” effect by giving students and their families a clearer idea of their progress.
But opponents want the system to be scrapped. They say it places too much emphasis on the results of individual exams – 40% in the case of ESO exam and 30% for the bachillerato exam.
Critically, they also argue the system will force students with economic and educational problems out of the classroom, creating a system of haves and have-nots. Spain has the highest school dropout rate in Europe with 20% of students not having any form of high school diploma, according to European Union statistics.
The new system – which is expected to cost the government €2.3 billion – is being trialed during the current academic year but was expected to become standard in 2018.
But speaking in parliament on Thursday, Rajoy said the exams would have “academic effect until there is a national pact on education, as per my proposal of yesterday [Wednesday].”
During a tense investiture debate on Wednesday, the prelude to a second debate on Saturday at which Rajoy is expected to be named as the head of a minority government, the acting prime minister made mention of eight major issues that he is ready to discuss with the Socialists and the emerging reform party Ciudadanos. These topics include jobs, education, pensions and the fight against corruption.
This means that while the new exams will take place, they will essentially be toothless: for now, students aged 15 and 16 will not have to pass the exam to receive their school leaving certificate and the older students will continue to sit the current university entrance tests.
Rajoy’s announcement comes a day after hundreds of thousands of students, teachers and parents protested against the proposed changes in more than 40 cities.
Between 30 and 40% of all students aged 14 and over this took part in the action while 12% of teachers stayed away from the classroom, according to official Education Ministry figures.
But unions behind the action put the figures as high as 90% for students and 60% for teachers, describing the day as an “amazing success.”
Wednesday’s strike was the latest in a series of 23 protests against the 2013 education law, the LOMCE, which the PP forced through Congress in 2013 despite the opposition of 11 political parties who saw it as ideologically driven.
“If they don’t call off the exams by Monday, the Students’ Union will take action again,” said group spokesperson Ana García.
Meanwhile, the president of the Spanish federation of parent-teacher associations, CEAPA, demanded that the new minority government of Mariano Rajoy call off the exams within four months and start new parliamentary negotiations on the country’s education law.
The organization also called on the government to reverse the cuts applied to the education sector during the crisis.

Video Games (Josep Olives, Julio Cid and Carlos Perelló)

Games have caused a lot of problems, so the opinion about them has become more controversial.
Nowadays most of people say that games are not good for our society, especially for children and teenagers.
Most of the games have violent adventures. Due to this, children are more aggressive because they think they can do the same as at the game. Also, young people are becoming more addict to them. They spend too much time playing and become more isolated from society, at that time they don’t have social life and no friends. Moreover they don’t practise any physical exercise and become unhealthier. Furthermore, games cause eyes and psychological problems like stress. We have to remember that these types of games aren’t productive, so they can’t learn anything. with all the hours that teenagers spend playing, rather than spend time studying.

Nevertheless,  to avoid game addiction, the government can promote certain type of activities to help young people to do some sports or go outside meeting friends, and not stay at home only playing video games.

VIDEO GAMES

Nowadays, we can all see that technology has advanced over time, an example of this is the high quality and accuracy of new video games. Nearly everyone, especially young people, play video games during their free time. However, videogames, are known to create addiction that's why they are so controversial.

Firstly, we can say that video games are being so controversial owing to the violence that appears in the majority of them, especially because a great number of players are children and that doesn’t contribute to their education. Despite the fact that videogames are a clear form of entertainment, their addiction is a big problem we can find among people who are not conscious, since many kids stay up all night playing video games, like any other type of addiction. As a result, we could find an alternative to avoid this dependence, overweight, isolation and all these problems that this obsession causes .

Technology

Nowadays, technology is part of our life, especially it's part of young people’s life, and those who don’t have a smartphone or don’t play videogames, are considered strange or peculiar.

The bad thing about videogames is the time you spend, unconsciously, sitting in front of the computer trying to pass a new level for days and when you can’t pass it, you start to feel anxious. This anxiety plus the sedentary life make you unhealthy. Besides, when children are used to playing violence videogames they become aggressive and nobody wants to be their friends. But what can we do to encourage children to do sports and be more sociable? One of the most important things is try to do excursions all the family together and also foster free activities with the help of the government.

In conclusion, videogames are bad for your health if you are addicted to them, but if you only play for half an hour, you do sport regularly and you aren’t an aggressive person, they are good.

Video Games

Nowadays video games are a popular form of entertainment among young people. There are a lot of types of video games and some teenagers spend most of their time playing, that’s why they are controversial.

On the one hand, I think that video games contain violence which excites them and consequently this entertainment becomes an addiction. Moreover, if you are addicted to playing video games, you will waste all your time playing, so you begin to have health problems because you stop doing sports and hanging out with friends, so some video games make you unsociable.

On the other hand, many people say that action games are good for people who study to be a doctor,
On the other hand, many people say that action games are good for people who study to be a doctor, a lawyer, etc. Furthermore, some video games are designed to be instructive because they can participate on competitions in teams, sing, dance, play chess…

To sum up, I think that video games must have a parental control. In addition, it’s necessary for famous young people to promote other activities among teenagers like team sports, playing chess or dance and song competitions, so that teenagers want to copy them.

WHY VIDEO GAMES ARE SO CONTROVERSIAL

Nowadays teenagers spend a lot of time playing video games, it's the most popular form of entertainment in the world; it's fun and it's a good way to spend your spare time but you shouldn't be gaming all day because it's unhealthy.
The first thing you think of when someone asks you to mention negative effects of video games is that they promote violence and they have a bad influence on young people. Children are easily influenced, and violent games can show them bad habits and make them hurt other people. They may not distinguish the real world from the virtual one. They're also addictive and this can stop the youth who spend a long time playing from getting enough exercise and not socializing.
There are a lot of different activities that could be promoted among adolescents like reading or sports, but the government and other institutions like schools should promote them providing facilities like parks where teenagers could do exercise.

In conclusion, video games aren't bad if you play them with moderation but there's no doubt that spending too much time gaming isn't good for you.

ARE VIDEO GAMES GOOD OR BAD?

Millions of people all over the world play games regularly. Games are one of the most popular kind of leisure activities which exist for many reasons. Firstly you don’t need anything, only a console or computer, the control and of course the game, and secondly you don't have to do anything, only move your fingers.

However, there are some games that shouldn’t be allowed, because some games may show inappropriate content or be very violent. But some people think that games are a waste of time and money. Due to this, games have been controversial since their launch.

In spite of the success of games we must do something, so we could promote other types of leisure activities which are more profitable like sport. But the question is who? In my opinion, schools could promote sport for children, the media could sponsor ads related with sport and also some institutions could promote sport in the street or publics areas.

Why videogames are so controversial?

Videogames are one of the biggest hobbies we have, but there are a lot of people who are hooked and obsessed with them, foremost teenagers. Is there any activity which would make you use your time in a better way than playing videogames?

Almost all videogames promote violence, racism or bad language, which is not ethically correct and is not good for developing children. Moreover, they could make you fat and may isolate you from the real world too, as you play sitting on the sofa at home. That’s why I think other kind of activities such as playing sports, which would help you to improve your health and welfare or reading, which would help you to raise your knowledge. Meeting your friends may be another good option instead of videogames.

To sum up, the reason why I prefer other activities to be promoted by our leaders is that videogames are taking so much time from people’s life and decreasing their life quality that they should be controlled in order to avoid the situations I mentioned in the paragraph above.

Can video games affect teenagers behaviour?

Contemporary culture has brought us new technologies such as video games, which are played by all people but teenagers are the biggest group. Nowadays, video games have become object of controversy. Nevertheless there are other kind of activities for teenagers.

Video games can produce some types of disease like losing eyesight (if you spend lot of time in front of a screen) or putting on weight. However, there are other activities including team sports that could make teenagers exercice and be in contact with other kids. In addition, they can be addictive causing personal isolation, your marks will change the same as your social life and cause you stress. Moreover, some aren’t appropriate for children because they contain lots of violence, modifying children’s behaviour. Therefore, there are some artistic activities like painting that could calm children’s behaviour.

All in all, video games affect you in different ways but they have lots of alternatives that should be promoted by parents, schools, TV and goverments.

Video Games

Nowadays, video games are very popular all over the world. However, their use is a controversial topic.

Firstly, computer games can cause addiction, for this reason, many people play video games for many hours. Consequently, some people become isolated.

Secondly, some games promote violence and hatred, besides, sometimes they contain violent scenes, rude words, sex and drug use.

Finally, in extreme situations, people, above all young children, can’t differentiate between reality and the game, therefore they need psychological attention.

In conclusion, everybody can play computer games provided we don’t abuse them. Furthermore, parents and teachers should promote free time activities for teenagers such as sports, excursions and other activities.

COMPUTER GAMES

Computer games are controversial because very young people are addicted to their computers or game consoles. This is wrong because it takes away many hours of study and sleep as well as time that could be spent with friends.

There have even been cases of people dying because the do not sleep nor eat. There is a new video game that has recently come, called "Pokemon Go".in which there are pokemons in the street which people have to catch, but it is dangerous because people look at their phone and it can cause an accident.

Other types of activities that could be promoted among young people are sport, playing an instrument, learning a language, etc. These things are positive for people because they learn something. They are also good for our future and to improve our health.

Videogames

Nowadays technology has been integrated in our society, for instance, mobile phones or videogames. One of the most controversial ones are videogames because of the problems the cause especially among the younger generation/ among young people.

Firstly this type of games promote a lot of violence, and in many cases, killing is the main objective, so this could create serious problems in children’s lives like being more aggressive. This problem is related to children who play videogames which are for adults. Consequently, if kids play violence games, they’ll not won’t distinguish virtual reality from real life. Secondly, videogames can create addiction, dependence, and lead the youth to be more unsociable. Although videogames cause serious problems, they also have a few positive things such as games that are focused on education or the correct coordination of our body.

To sum up, the disadvantages of online games to mainly concern children, so the solution would be a combination of playing games and doing physical activity, promoted by social media, schools with professional talks or the government.

TECHNOLOGY IS NOT UNDER CONTROL

Technology will become an international problem until we stop it. Nowadays, children are spending a lot of their time playing video games.

First of all, many boys and girls around the world are becoming aggressive and unsociable due to video games. Moreover, they don’t practise any kind of sport and it’s possible that they will have health problems in the future. In addition, the screen brightness damages their eyes if they spend six hours every day in front of computers. Recently, many studies state that physical activities of children have decreased last years. Nevertheless, parents keep on letting their children to play video games too much time!

A solution to this problem is that the government should promote physical activities. Furthermore, they can also reward those boys and girls that get good achievements in some sports.

In conclusion, technology also has good advantages, like entertainment or education, but these aren’t sufficient to make up for all these disadvantages.

VIDEO GAMES

Nowadays nearly everyone uses technology to talk with people. Also, most people of all ages play video games.

Firstly, you become aggressive because if you lose a game you get angry. Secondly, video games create serious problems. For example, video games create addiction. Because of this, unluckily you don’t do sport. That’s the reason why eventually they create health problems because you are sitting on a chair for a long time and you eat. Also, you suffer damage due to screen brightness because people spend a long time in front of the screen. Finally, people don’t distinguish fantasy from reality and these people instead of socializing in real life; they are socializing in video games or fantasy.

In conclusion, although I agree that video games are a wonderful invention to entertain, they can be harmful if you play them for too long because, once this happens, people usually forget about their obligations.

Video Games

These days video games are the subject of great controversy as some people believe they are harmful. There are many other kinds of leisure activities which are healthier and less addictive.

Firstly, violent video games can make people become violent or agressive. Furthermore they can also be addictive, as when people play them they lose track of time (as I know from experience!!). Moreover, by playing and wasting time on these games people become unsociable and instead of doing exercise or meeting friends they spend their time inside, in front of a screen.
To solve these problems the government should try to promote other forms of entertainment which make adolescents get outside and communicate with other people. For instance, schools could offer extra-activities or trips after lessons or at weekend to help teenagers become more sociable.

In conclusion, the government should do more to avoid this growing problem, by promoting other forms of entertainment as adolescents are spending more and more time in front of screens which can damage their health.

WHY ARE VIDEO GAMES CONTROVERSIAL?

Nowadays, video games have become not only one of the most popular free-time activities, but also the focus of several controversies. Why has this happened?

There are many reasons why video games have become so controversial. First of all, they are created to engage people that finally become addicted. This means that video games become a waste of time for these people. Furthermore, spending so much time watching a screen without moving, and “living” a fake life in a fake world can cause players several problems or diseases (either physical or psychological) such as epilepsy.

There wouldn’t be any controversy if people played less time with video games and spent it doing other activities such as practising any sport, reading, visiting museums..., but this can happen only if all the governments, institutions and educators make an effort to change people’s minds.

To sum up, playing video games is a controversial activity for many reasons like the loss of time it supposes, but if everyone changes their mind on this issue, there won’t be any more disagreement.

VIDEO GAMES

Nowadays, video games have become a very big business, which is more successful than the cinema. But they are creating controversy about the good and bad consequences of playing video games.

On the one hand, video games could be very bad. They promote violence, especially among teenagers, who become more violent and can have social problems. Many of these games could become addictive and it's a really big waste of time for adolescents, who should be meeting friends or doing some sport, which are healthier than playing video games all the time. Also, an excessive use of games can create backache or eyesight problems, because of the brightness of the screen.
On the other hand, playing video games has some good points. With them you can experiment an amazing adventure and learn lots of things, like a specific language, or about lots of different matters, depending on the kind of game.

In my opinion, playing video games is positive, but only if we play usually and responsibly. And to help us to try to avoid an addiction, the big institutions should promote other activities, which make us leave home and have fun doing something different.

Video Games, a double edged sword

Nowadays, the popularity of video games is increasing among people from all backgrounds because today’s video games have nothing to do with the ones from the past decade. You will laugh when you compare today’s high definition games to the outdated Mario Bros.

So that you get an overall view, according to recent studies, video games revenues have surpassed those of Hollywood revenues. However, as the old saying goes, All that glitters is not gold and the fact is that video games have drawbacks. Many people become addicted to these games and lose track of time or care for nothing else. In addition, playing violent video games such as Grand Theft Auto can cause psychological disorders that in some cases can lead children to replicate the scenes they see on these video games.

As I see it, video games are not by a long chalk indispensable and can be easily replaced by other activities such as practicing sport or reading that can be as satisfying as playing games but with almost no drawbacks.

VIDEO GAMES

People of different ages and from different countries have distinct opinions about video-games. Some of them think they are addictive and others say that they can be educational.

I think that all people know that some players can get addicted to a video game and they can't stop playing it, this fact has horrible consequences, for example, there are people who stop doing activities like sport or studying just to play video games. In addition, some kids buy games which are for adults, and incite players to violence, and they shouldn't play with them because children don't distinguish between fiction and real life. However, I think that some video games are good for the children because they can teach languages or improve coordination.

In my opinion the government and schools should encourage youth to exercise more through setting up teams so they could compete . Another way to decrease the inappropriate use of video games would be to the sales of video games for adults, as they do with the alcoholic drinks or tobacco.
To conclude, I don't think that video games are negative for the players. However everybody knows that all extremes are bad, so in my opinion people should spend more time playing in the street that with video games.

Video Games

Nowadays, video games are one of the most popular and controversial topics. The number of children that play video games increases every day. So, are video games a good option, or is it better to promote other activities among adolescents?

Firstly, the most controversial point is that video games could be addictive, therefore the children will waste a lot of time and money on them. Secondly, they might promote violence, consequently people become violent. For this reasons, we need to promote other kind of free time activities. For instance they could be replaced with doing sport, playing an instrument or going out with friends.

To sum up, I believe that Video Games are not bad, but if you make an excessive use of them, they could have terrible consequences.

Why are video games so controversial?

Video games have been a controversial topic since their creation. Nowadays, the world is divided between people who love video games and those who only see their drawbacks. They are both right so, what could we do?

It’s obvious that, for the last ten years, video games have invaded teenagers’ leisure time and become their favourite activity. Although, this overuse is the cause of addiction and a huge amount of health problems. Moreover, it has social consequences because the child is getting away from real life and replacing his/her mates with internet friends. That’s the most critical point of video games, but they also have some benefits to balance the scales. For example, there are many educative games. In conclusion, the problem is not the game, it’s the huge amount of time we spend playing it. For that reason, we need to promote other activities such as sports to unplug children from electronic gadgets.

To sum up, the abuse of video games is still being a problem and we will have to cooperate to swap it over.

ARE VIDEO GAMES BAD?

Are video games bad? Should they be prohibited? Video games are one of the most popular forms of entertainment, especially for young people, but it is also a very controversial topic.

A lot of people blame video games for promoting violence, but the real issue is not that they contain it. The problem starts when kids play them when they are too young to distinguish between fiction and real life. Another controversial point is how addictive they can be. In some specific cases, video games become a waste of time and money (we know they aren’t exactly cheap). Some people stop meeting their friends because they are too “busy” to do that and then they become unsociable. Of course, adolescents should do other activities in their free time. The greatest one is practicing sport, because it’s healthy and fun. Actually, some video games promote it, like the recent viral success Pokemon Go, which forces you to go out to play it.

All in all, video games aren’t bad, but we must know who is able to play them and how much time we should play. They mustn’t replace other more important activities.

VIDEOGAMES

Nowadays, videogames have become one of the most popular forms of entertainment. As a result, some inappropriate content, dangerously unnoticed by such young users, has made videogames one of the most controversial topics. However, not all of them are bad, some are educational.

Firstly, I think that violent content is the main criticized point, because, as a consequence of this attitude, users can adopt this violent behavior, creating problems with their family and friends.

Secondly, not all videogames are for all ages. They are classified for some reason. The heart of the matter is thatthere isn’t any control to forbid selling them to children, and we should change that.

Thirdly, I believe that videogames can be addictive and cause dependence on teenagers, restricting the high number of activities people of their age should do. Moreover, it can seriously affect the physical health of the users. So, internet and TV advertisements should collaborate to spread the message of going out and socializing instead of staying at home playing videogames.

In conclusion, it can be said that some of the videogames can improve the coordination, but an abusive use can cause dangerous problems. For this reason, we should tell the town hall to promote physical activities and social contact, so as to spend less time playing videogames.

WHAT ABOUT VIDEO GAMES CONTROVERSY?

For the last several years video games have become a really influential part of people’s lives, and it’s increasing every day, And that’s what has turned them into the subject of much controversy.

From my point of view, as everything, video games have their good and bad things, so I understand why there is such controversy. Lots of these games promote violence and most of the times among children who are too young, which makes it difficult for them to differentiate between virtual and real life. On the other hand, there might be games that are right to have a good time alone or with friends. In my opinion, schools should be the ones who encouraged their students to play for moderate periods of time, and then, go out and move their legs.

To sum up, video games can be very harmful and especially if they aren’t used by children at the advised ages. Despite that, they aren’t so bad if they are used for short periods of time, video games can be good for entertainment if guys combine them with other activities promoted by schools.

6 October 2016

Since we were children, we have been told that video games are a bad influence for us, but is that true? Let’s see if they are an encumbrance that we should ban.

First of all, we should ask ourselves why they are so controversial. So let’s begin with the negative aspects they have. Playing video games may cause addiction, it means that, the time you waste playing, you can’t do other activities like meeting friends or do some sport, etc. For this reason, people that play this kind of games could end up being isolated. In addition, you get fat and stressed, which is a good combo to get a heart attack. Moreover, they promote violence and change people’s behaviour. Finally mostly those who play more video games are young children. So, at least, it’s a matter of concern.

In my opinion, the media, parents, schools and the government should promote other activities like: performances, concerts, castings like “Tu si que pots” or sports, going camping… And try to regulate video games, but never forcing people, because it causes the opposite effect.

VIDEO GAMES

Video games are one of the most popular forms of entertainment among teenagers. They are really interesting, but they can also become an issue. That’s why other activities for young people should be promoted.

Nowadays, most people know what video games are. They are very popular because they show a world where you can control everything, and where you are the main character. But it has been proved that they can also cause some diseases, like obesity as a result of the lack of physical exercise, the loss of eyesight due to being in front of a screen for too many hours, isolation and stress. To deal with this situation, more free time activities should be promoted by governments, schools and parents, so children and teenagers can go out and interact with the real world.

In conclusion, video games can be an excelent form of entertainment, as long as people use them properly, since they can also lead to many physical and psyschological problems. To prevent that, young people have many other activities to do, but these should be more promoted.

Nowadays, children and teenagers are used to playing videogames because they think that it’s a form of entertainment and, every day, a new game is on the market. From my point of view, as far as I’m concerned, videogames can have bad a bad influences on people.

Firstly, these games can cause addictions and, in consequence, players can have less social life so they lose their friends. Also, they stop doing exercise and their health gets worse. Secondly, related to that, videogames can also cause mental problems like getting stressed. Finally, they promote violence because many games are about that and this makes people change their behaviour. This fact is bad for children that are growing up because they can adopt a bad behaviour.

In conclusion, as videogames are not good for people, some activities must be promoted in order to stop people from playing them. Some of these activities can be facilitated by parents, schools or governments such as promoting doing sports or creating outdoor spaces.

Video games have been a really popular form of entertainment among teenagers, but for many years they have been controversial because of the negative way they can influence the players.

The main problem of videogames is they can turn you into an addict. According to this addiction you can end up staying all day at home, and because of that you can feel isolated and have no social life. This can have negative effects on your health like stress and physical problems, since you can't do exercise. Also, videogames promote violence, and that can influence young children's behaviour.
Besides, other activities instead of videogames should be promoted. Parents should plan excursions for the weekends and schools hould promote sports. Also the media and the government should be involved, the former advertising different kind of activities and the latter creating outdoor spaces.

To conclude, videogames have a lot of negative aspects, so other types of activities should be promoted by parents and institutions.
Nowadays, video games have been introduced in many people’s routine. However, they are still a topic of debate among society.

On the one hand, there’s a huge variety of videogames, but the most popular are violent ones, and from my point of view, they can have serious repercussions on teenagers’ behavior if nobody controls them. In addition, they are highly addictive . Those who play games for hours, do not only disconnect from social life but also have bad results at school and physical problems like obesity and loss of sight  and forget about the problems that surround them.

In my opinion, schools should motivate students to practice physical exercise so as not to stay seated on the couch. Nevertheless, that’s not enough, local governments should also participate providing places where they could go ahead with these activities.

To conclude, playing videogames is like all in life, it isn’t bad if you don’t get addicted to it!
Nowadays video games are part of contemporary culture and are played all over the world. They provide economic benefits for big companies but like lots of things, they arouse some controversy.

Firstly, there's a large number of teenagers that play video games, more than little kids or adults. This new culture can have some negative points: People who play them can get stressed or develop personal isolation because of the addiction they create and the violence they promote. If this happens, school marks might be affected and social life too.

Furthermore, physical problems or diseases can appear. You can lose sight due to the screen brightness or they you might get fat since people you don't do exercise.

For these reasons, parents, tv stations and townhalls should advice the kids to play less with the new era games and do some sport or different activities, for instance drawing, reading or meeting friends and go for a walk.

Nowadays video games are something normal, it’s contemporary culture but sometimes we forget that there are other things that are much better and we have to disconnect .

Firstly, video games promote too much violence and normally the youth become more aggressive, which can be harmful because if there are aggressive children, normally, social problems like bullying or mistreatment- will increase. Another point is that video games create addictions, in other words therefore, there will be more mental problems, less social life, stressed and overweight people because they don’t do exercise...

However, I think it could be a great idea if parents, schools and the government (or town hall) took part . I mean, parents could organise excursions, family days or whatever they want so that they are in contact with nature, family or friends. On the other hand, the gorvernment could organise activities for young people, create outdoor spaces, besides the media and their could offer something that attractsthem.

To sum up, we have to show them that there are interesting things on the other side of screens .

Nowadays, many people are addicted to videogames and some others , against them. That creates lot of controversy because the actual culture is based on this, so we will have to find a way to help obsessed people.

Firstly, we could say that videogames promote violence because the players’ behaviour changes, they become more aggressive in social life. As a result of that they can have mental problems because they get stressed if they don’t pass a level and, because of that anxiety, they can get addicted and that includes that they get isolated, that means no friends, so no social life and they can get overweight, which is very bad for their health.
So, what could we do to decrease this need to play videogames? We could promote new activities like sports or places without internet connection or our government, the town hall… could create some type of activity, mostly for young people.

In conclusion, getting addicted to video games is very bad for our health so all the society, could cooperate to improve it.
I think that all people know that some players can get addicted to a video game and they can't stop playing it, this fact has terrible consequences, for example, there are people who stop doing activities like sport or studying just to play video games.
