Society
has always thought that housework should be done by women only, but
this idea has changed and a lot of men now stay at home and become the househusbands.
Firstly, if chores were
shared, both men and women would have more free time because that work
wouldn’t depend just on one person. In addition, many men work as cooks,
so why can’t they cook at home too, or clean the kitchen as
they do every day at work? If each partner in the couple has a job, it
is not fair that women do all the housework. However, if one of them is
not employed and stays at home, he or she should take care of the house.
Moreover, boys should be taught everything which is taught to a girl, like ironing, doing the washing up or setting the table so that in the near future they can also take part in household chores.
All in all, I think that housework should be shared because we are all humans and there shouldn’t be differences between us.
